Pain of Loss
Maya , Doha: Feb 2 2009

Roger Federer lost again. Being one of the most dominant and successful sportsmen of this era he loses rarely and when its said he lost... invariably its to Rafeal Nadal and hauntingly its the Australian Open Final. nothing succeeds like success and nothing hurts like loss.

Its not a big deal many would say, life goes on. But when you desire something real bad and it always fails to happen at the last minute it really hurts.

I dont know why I really wanted Federer to win and his latest loss will continue to hurt till next Grand slam, He will reach Pete Sampras record of 14 Grand slams If he had won this title.

Like in life when we fail, we pick up the pieces and proceed and hope against hope that we succeed some day. I just continue to hope against hope that some day Federer manages to exorcise the devils within him and finally manages to win the crown and ( yes... beat Nadal in the finals...)

Hmmm... I still haven’t gotten over the pain…I couldn’t help crying when I saw tears in Fed’s eyes…....I dont know if this post is even relevant to many readers but Im sure some Federer fan out there shares my pain.

After all defeat teaches you more lessons than success right?
